| The Kingsville Boxing Club is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. The boxers participating in the program travel nationwide competing in a variety of amateur competitions. Our mission is to help promote discipline as a method of achieving individual goals. All participants are encouraged to exercise daily as an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle. Outside of the gym, members have also engaged in volunteer activities for the betterment of the community and are also encouraged to excel academically. | Boxers from the Marine Military Academy trained and sparred with members of the Kingsville Boxing Club on the 6th of Feb 2010. The MMA Boxing Team is trained by SgtMaj (Ret) Fred A. Roberston. In addition to having the Kingsville Boxers sparring, two members of the active military (Navy Pilot Dan Trube & Marine pilot Zack Hartnette) were on hand to help in the sparring and to speak to both groups about their futures and decision making. |
| BOXING CLUB NEWS updated 16 January 2011 Eliazar Mendietta gets first win on Saturday October 8th in Brownsville, Texas Community Service: Members of the Kingsville Boxing Club will participate in a monthly project in support of Operation Keep Kingsville Beautiful. Members will volunteer once a month to take on a project in Kingsville to help beautify our city. Because You Care Award. The Kingsville Boxing Club was recognized by the Keep Kingsville Beautiful Committee with the Because you Care award for the community service project. A BIG THANK YOU GOES OUT TO DIANE FROM PIZZA HUT FOR SPONSORING OUR COMMUNITY SERVICE LUNCH. |
